With Halogen and Incandescent, the Client would achieve the stated goal of a natural, bright light.  But its not low maintenance (think bulbs burning out and its a vaulted ceiling) and it would be a large impact on the monthly electric bill (think of those peak energy electric rates).  Fluorescent would be small impact on the electric bill, but the color of the light is not the greatest.  In addition, the amount of Lumens it produces (term for measuring the flow of light from the device) would not be optimal for the Client.  And replacing a four prong Fluorescent bulb is more difficult than a halogen bulb (think of those high ceilings).

LED was the option for the Client.  Low impact on the electric bill, great Lumens output (think bright), can be put on a dimmer, low maintenance (30,000 hours before replacing a unit) and it was a natural color of light similar to Incandescent.  It was the perfect option.
