Hummingbird Lane
 The project on Humminbird Lane was a basic remodel in that no walls had to be moved, no major changes needed.  The challenge with the project was incorporating the existing bathtub into the overall color scheme of the room.  The tub was older and had a darker almond tint than what is found in tubs today.

Also, the client was specific in that he wanted minimal grout lines and a tile color that was similar to what was being used in the kitchen.  The client liked a neutral color and wanted no darker colors or contrasts.

To accomodate the customer's requirements, we used the same tile on the walls as the floor.  The tile dimensions were 20" x 20" with a 1/8" grout line.  A smaller, 4" x 4" multi-colored tile inset was used to provide some highlights to the room.  Satin nickel finishes on the hardware to give the room an updated, more contemporary look.  In addition, a medicine cabinet was added to the wall on the side of the vanity to provide extra storage, improve sight lines and boost the lighting in the room.
